Seven years ago this was the day before my life changed forever. As you go through life you make plans. Plans to go on dates. Plans to tell someone that you love them. Plans to ask them to marry you. Wedding plans. Plans for anniversaries. Retirement plans. Nowhere does it say how to to plan after your Wife passes away...
My journey has changed. I try not to "plan" too many things in the future as tomorrow is not guaranteed. When you spend time planning the future, you sometimes miss out on the special things that happen each day. This is one of the most important lessons you have given me.
I miss you everyday. I think of you often and I now treasure each day more because I know I'm living it for both of us.
