It’s a beautiful story and saw the bar code on your bench and thought I had to check and see what is was about. I know your at peace as sitting on your bench a chance meeting with your husband and your presence of love that surrounded him. I hope he got the water colour painting I left for his as it was spirit driven love and light 💜💙

Dearest Lisa, you are often in my thoughts but always in my heart as you made such an impact in my life as such a caring wonderful and funny lovely lady. Today is always hard to remember the day you left us. I will miss you always. I will miss your face your smile and most of all I will miss your hugs. I came across a picture of you and I today. The tears just started falling but I couldn't look away. I close my eyes and I was there that day so long ago. I saw your eyes still shining bright alive and so aglow. I swear I heard your laughter as I gazed upon your face. That golden and contagious sound that nothing can replace. It brought back such sweet memories of how life used to be. Each picture is now a time machine that brings you back to me.

Another visit to your bench today. Such a quiet and reflective place. I feel you with me... Thank you Sweetie. As you release this butterfly in honor of me, know that I'm with you and will always be. Hold a hand, say a prayer, close your eyes and see me there. Although you may feel a bit torn apart, please know that I'll be forever in your heart. Now fly away butterfly as high as you can go, I'm right there with you more than you know.

28 years ago today we said "I Do" and of course it's baseball playoff weekend which seemed to happen regularly on our anniversary... You were always so understanding knowing that we'd spend some special time together at some point over the weekend... I can't even begin to tell you how much I appreciated that and now it seems even more special. I miss your love and support every day. Happy Anniversary Sweetie !

Another difficult day... You ALWAYS made me feel special on my birthday. Every little detail was taken care of. I will always love you and cherish the many fun and amazing times we had together.

Earlier today I stood outside facing the sun and I believe that Lisa gave me one of her big hugs through the gentle gusts of wind. So I threw myself into the snow and made angels wing.

Dear MPI Friends, I would like to thank you for such a wonderful gift. Shortly after my Wife Lisa passed away you raised money to have a bench dedicated in her honour. On August 22, which would have been our 27th wedding anniversary, the bench was installed at St. Vital Park I visit there very regularly and your gift has already given me and the rest of her family so much comfort. I hope you get a chance to drop by the bench and see the site we chose. Lisa had an amazing gift of making people feel special and you certainly have returned the favour. Missing You I wonder if people understand what it is to miss you. It isn't about accepting that you are gone. I'm acutely aware that you are not here. It isn't about moving on, I move forward but you are no further from my mind. It isn't about forgetting you. You are still the first thing I think about in the morning and the last thing at night. It is about learning to not reach for your touch. I miss sharing my joys and sorrows with you. It is about not feeling your loving arms hug me. I miss the intensity of your love. I miss hearing about your hopes and dreams. It is about thinking about you everyday. I miss you everyday.
